Homemade Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds (or nut of choice)
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak nuts for at least 4-6 hours (I normally leave mine overnight) in clean water.

  2. 2. Drain and rinse nuts before placing in a high powered blender.

  3. 3. Add water, salt, and flavorings.

  4. 4. Blend until creamy and frothy (normally 1-2 minutes).

  5. 5. Strain mixture through a nut milk bag.

  6. 6. Place into a container and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

  7. 7. Enjoy!

  8. *This recipe is easily doubled or tripled!
