1. Defrost and drain broccoli, if using frozen.
2. Heat butter or oil in pan over medium heat, once hot, add broccoli, spices, and salt and pepper.
3. Cover and steam broccoli until cooked and bright green (about 2-4 minutes).
4. If there is any excess water in the pan, be sure to drain it.
5. Move broccoli to the side and add sausage to the pan. Cook until warmed through.
6. Serve with rice, quinoa, or pasta! (optional)
